The Saints have a new receiver. And he knows the area well. Alumnus of Louisiana State, Jarvis Landry announced on Twitter that he is joining the New Orleans franchise.
A simple announcement.
The franchise has yet to formalize, but NFL Network confirms the transaction. The terms of the contract are not yet known.
Landry caught 52 balls for 570 yards in 12 games last year with the Browns.
At 29, however, he has a chance to bounce back. And if he does, New Orleans will have a nice arsenal of targets, since he joins Michael Thomas or the debutant Chris Olave, selected in the first round.
After Tyrann Mathieu, Landry is the second former LSU star to return to the Bayou in recent weeks.
