James Harden would pay $15 million to help the Sixers

The 32-year-old will return for two seasons (the second year optional) with Philadelphia.

Win a title with Philadelphia. This is the sole objective of James Harden, who recently declined a $47.4 million player option for next season in order to re-enter at a lower rate. All with the goal of giving maximum largesse to the 76ers in terms of payroll. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, « The Beard » has finally said yes to a two-year contract with a player option in 2023. A contract that will save the Pennsylvania franchise $ 15 million, which will added PJ Tucker and Danuel House Jr. to the roster which failed in the semi-finals in the East.

After OKC, Houston and Brooklyn, former best sixth man and MVP James Hardenn, 32, joined the Sixers this past season, after asking to leave the Nets. In 21 games alongside Joel Embiid and company, he compiled 21 points on 44.2% shooting, 5.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists.
