Ivory Coast: soon an African football fair in Abidjan


#Ivory Coast : An African Football Fair will be held from June 27 to 29 at the Sofitel Abidjan Hotel Ivoire located in Cocody, announced the initiator Jean Tangui Yapoidou, Thursday May 19, 2022, during a press conference.

Placed under the high patronage of the Minister for the Promotion of Sports and the Development of the Sports Economy, Paulin Claude Danho, the Fair aims to promote African football through partnerships between African and European football players.

On this occasion, there will be debates on the problems of African football in order to find possible solutions, Esport tournaments, evenings of distinction, exhibitions, among others.

Yapoidou explained that during the three days, Abidjan will be the capital of African football and will host the players of African and European football.

« More than 20,000 visitors, 50 African and European clubs, 200 professional players, 30 football federations, are expected at the Show », explained the initiator.

The idea of ​​an African Football Fair was born from a factual observation of the insistence of a continental platform for meeting and exchange between football professionals. It brings together football players during a major continental sporting event to discuss football issues and act for its development.
