It’s agitated around a big name, two teams from the East on the lookout!

Trade negotiations are intensifying across the league as the deadline approaches, including in an Eastern Conference where anything is possible. Three franchises are in particular in talks, with two stars mentioned in potential deals!

This year more than the others, the race for the playoffs still seems extremely open in the two conferences. Given the tiny gaps that separate many teams in the standings at the moment, most of them could be aggressive on the sidelines of the trade deadline. A way to keep their postseason dream alive, looking to strengthen for the final sprint.

This is particularly true in the East, where only 10 games separate 1st from 11th place. Several top-franchises are therefore going into overdrive as the market closes, and are looking for big recruits. The Cavaliers, for example, got their hands on a big namewhile rumors linking the James Harden and Ben Simmons files remain at the heart of the news.

Big trade to come between Raptors, Hawks or Pacers?

Authors of a cannon comeback in recent weeks, the Raptors find themselves to everyone’s surprise well placed to play the leading roles at the end of the season (6th, 29-23). Therefore, they would also seek to make the most of their assets in this period, and in particular… the undesirable Goran Dragic. Two rival teams would be in the running, with two great offers already on the table to recover the Slovenian according to Bleacher Report !

The Raptors are discussing a Goran Dragic trade with multiple teams, according to Jake Fisher.

Atlanta and Toronto are discussing a deal involving Danilo Gallinari and Goran Dragic.

Toronto and Indiana discuss a deal sending Goran Dragic and a first-round pick in exchange for Myles Turner.

Masai Ujiri is therefore spoiled for choice, with two very different profiles made available to him in the negotiations. On the one hand, Danilo Gallinari and his science of shooting at post 4. On the other, the defensive expert Myles Turner, a real anchor point as a pivot. Whatever the profile chosen by the executive of the Raps, this one will always bring more than Dragic, put in the closet for almost three months!

The departure of Goran Dragic is becoming clearer in Toronto, with two good offers received for the veteran point guard. One thing is certain: the latter should not end the season within the Canadian franchise!
