Italy: Nereo Rocco Trophy, the KFA at its best

The Katumbi Football Academy made an impression in Italy during the 36th edition of the Mundialito, under-18 football tournaments. The TP Mazembe academy won the Nereo Rocco trophy for the first time in its young history.

The men of the Franco-Congolese technician offered each other respect and imposed admiration on their journey. In the final, the KFA extinguished all doubt against Pordenone thanks to Kilongozi, who scored his 8th and 9th goals of the tournament.

2 goals to 1, the KFA rises to the top. It took 25 years to see an African club win the international Mundialito tournament. The last club on the black continent to have achieved such a feat is Goldfields Accra.
