Italy and Turkey candidates for the organization of Euro 2032

UEFA announced on Wednesday that it had received two applications for the organization of Euro 2032. Turkey, also a candidate in 2028, is currently facing Italy, which has submitted an application for the edition 2032.

While the United Kingdom and Ireland detailed earlier in the day this Wednesday their bid to host Euro 2028, UEFA comes to formalize the candidatures of Turkey and Italy for the 2032 edition of the competition, which will take place in a little less than ten years.
« Turkey has submitted a bid for the 2028 or 2032 edition of UEFA’s flagship competition for national teams, while Italy has submitted a bid for UEFA EURO 2032, » writes the UEFA in a statement.
The deadline is approaching
Teams wishing to host the European Championship in 2028 or 2032 only have a few months left to apply, until April 12, 2023 exactly. The designation of the host(s) for UEFA EURO 2028 and UEFA EURO 2032 will take place in autumn 2023.
As a reminder, the next edition of the Euro will be held in Germany in a year and a half, in the summer of 2024.
