Last weekend, against Cincinnati (4-4), Argentinian Gonzalo Higuain scored a hat-trick in less than 45 minutes with Inter Miami.

Gonzalo Higuaín was named the best player of the 23rd day of MLS, after scoring a hat-trick on Saturday in the draw against Cincinnati (4-). Higuain, a former Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus and Chelsea player among others, won the award for the second time in his career, having won it on Matchday 5 last season.

First-half hat-trick for Higuaín

The Argentina forward netted his hat-trick in the space of half an hour in the first half of the match against Cincinnati, even though he left the field with bittersweet feelings as his side, who took the advantage three times, could not find victory. He is the second Inter Miami player to receive the award this season, after Ecuadorian Leonardo Campana.

Higuain has scored seven goals since the start of the season and his team are in 11th place, three points from the play-off places. She will soon be heading to the San José Earthquakes field.
