After a long break theIndycar is finally back. For the occasion, the American single-seater competition has a brand new circuit: Nashville. The cradle of country music offers an urban circuit which should offer a race punctuated by flags (yellow or even red). During qualifying, Colton Herta set the fastest time!
Indycar, in Nashville Romain Grosjean finished sixth in qualifying!
On this brand new Nashville circuit Romain Grosjean has once again been able to integrate the Fast6. The Frenchman set the sixth fastest time in qualifying. But following a penalty imposed on Álex Palou. The championship leader will start from ninth place following an anticipated engine change. This allows Grosjean (but also
Alexander Rossi and Felix Rosenqvist) to gain a place on the starting grid. Simon Pagenaud finished 8th in Q2 and failed to qualify for the Fast6. The French will therefore start 7th in the race.

Bad operation for former F1 driver Takuma Sato who finished 12th in Group 2 of Q1. Marcus Ericsson, meanwhile, was in the same group and finished 9th just behind the French Sebastien Bourdais.
