Indy 500 – Ericsson’s tribute helmet to Ronnie Peterson

The outgoing winner of the Indianapolis 500, Marcus Ericsson (Chip Ganassi Racing) will continue to wear a special helmet for the 2023 Indy 500. The Swede will use the color codes of his childhood idol, Ronnie Peterson (10 victories in Grands Formula 1 prize between 1973 and 1978) with the black-and-gold colors dear to Lotus and the cigarette manufacturer John Player Special:

Last year, Marcus Ericsson used the same vintage design, but with the Swedish national colors on a matte background.
