Hockey – NHL – Columbus Blue Jackets change coach in NHL

Columbus, Alexandre Texier’s team, will have a new coach next season: ex-deputy Brad Larsen succeeds John Tortorella. After a sad 2020-2021 season (last in the Central Division), Columbus and his French striker Alexandre Texier will have a new coach when they resume. John Tortorella, at the end of his contract, was not extended after six years in office. To succeed him, the leaders of the Blue Jackets chose Brad Larsen (43), who had been his deputy since 2015 and previously that of Todd Richards for a year. The former Atlanta Thrashers forward, who will have his first NHL head coaching experience, has signed up for the next three seasons. read also Columbus lets his executives slip away to prepare for the future
