His most humiliating moment on the court? Nicolas Batum cash!
Always quite active on social networks, Nicolas Batum answered a few questions from fans. The opportunity to ask him a lot of things, including his most embarrassing moment on a floor. Sorry in advance Clippers fans, but we’re going to bring up a sad memory, which took place in December 2020.
An unwanted time at the Hornets, Nicolas Batum has completely revived since at the Clippers. Free agent this summer, the French extended his lease in the City of Angels, still hoping to win a title alongside Paul George, but also Kawhi Leonard. The star will be back next October, if all goes well, which means it’s going to be an exciting season for Tyronn Lue’s men.
Nicolas Batum very honest about his worst memory
The past two seasons haven’t always been easy, and Batman knows what he’s talking about. When answering a few questions from fans on his Twitter account, the winger returned to the most awkward moment within the Clipps. He evokes a very particular match having taken place in December 2020, when Los Angeles took what is called a spanking, against the Mavs.
-50 against the Mavs after Christmas 2020🤦🏽♂️ https://t.co/C3fTylYlWk

Fan: « Your most embarrassing moment as a Clipper so far »
Batum: « -50 against the Mavs after Christmas 2020 🤦🏽♂️ »
Surprising? No way. The Clippers had taken a beating, with a score of 124-73, including 77-27 at halftime. A bad memory for Batum, who finished with 4 points and -17 on the floor. As a reminder, this is the biggest gap in the history of the league, since the introduction of the clock. A real humiliation, which some fans prefer to forget.

This match does not exist for me
A very bad memory for Nicolas Batum, just like the Clippers fans. Thankfully, the franchise has bounced back since, even though injuries have been there. After years of hardship, Tyronn Lue’s men have every intention of competing for the title at the start of the school year, and that’s the most important thing. As always, Batum will have a big responsibility.
