Growth of the Juventus brand among the top five clubs in world football
Juventus have been ranked among the top five clubs in world football for brand growth after a €140m increase in value over the past year. The results, published in the Football 50 2022 annual report, show that the Bianconeri are recovering well from their post-COVID financial problems and remain the best Italian club in the world financially. The Old Lady remains in 11th place overall but has closed the gap to Arsenal in 10th place due to their stronger growth.
The €140m increase in brand growth equals 25% year-on-year with the estimated value of the Juventus brand at €705m. The club started the season with Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most marketable sports stars on the planet in their squad but left to join Manchester United just before the summer transfer window closed.
