Grosjean on the ice and in Daytona this winter

We knew the Franco-Swiss pilot who was a fan of snow sports: he will participate in the Andros Trophy during the off-season as well as in the 24 Hours of Daytona.

It is with his friend Julien Febreau, the commentator of the Grands Prix on Canal +, that Romain Grosjean will line up in the Andros Trophy 2021/2022 from next weekend in Val Thorens.

The two men will drive an electric Renault Zoe from DA Racing (photo above), identical to the one shared by defending champion Jean-Baptiste Dubourg and his teammate Nico Prost.

This is not the first time that Grosjean has been racing on ice: in 2016, he won the Alpe-d’Huez event already with DA Racing.

Along with this winter program as a breath of fresh air, the veteran of 179 F1 Grands Prix will prepare for his American season after his thunderous debut in IndyCar this year.

In addition to a private test program with his new team Andretti Autosport, Grosjean will discover the joys of American endurance by competing in the next 24 Hours of Daytona in January on an Acura DPi from Wayne Talor Racing.

Endurance is not a discipline foreign to Romain who has already raced the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GT and dreams of returning to it, which should be the case with Acura (Honda’s premium brand in the USA) in 2023 in the new LMDh category.
