Gonzalo Higuain announces his retirement

During a press conference organized in Miami on Monday, striker Gonzalo Higuaín officially announced his retirement at the end of the 2022 season. At 34, he bid farewell to the professional world not without emotion, after having worn the colors of several legendary clubs (River Plate, Real Madrid, Juventus, Napoli, Chelsea and AC Milan). The Argentinian international (75 caps, 31 goals) decided in September 2020 to offer himself one last challenge in the United States, by signing up with Inter Miami.
