Golden State still winner of Lakers in NBA preseason game
Since the start of the NBA preseason, the Golden State Warriors have won all of their games and the Los Angeles Lakers have lost all of theirs. On Tuesday, the two teams each continued their streak, in their second confrontation (the Warriors had won 121-114 Friday). Golden State won (111-99).
The San Francisco franchise has relied on Jordan Poole (18 points), Damion Lee (16 pts) and Otto Porter (16). Stephen Curry and Draymond Green did not play. On the Lakers side, the stars were aligned (20 pts for Anthony Davis and 17 for LeBron James). Russell Westbrook signed a small double-double (10 points and as many rebounds).
Joel Ayayi spent only six minutes on the floor, taking two rebounds. Sekou Doumbouya, who signed the same day with Los Angeles, did not come into play. In the other game of the evening, the Toronto Raptors beat the Washington Wizards (113-108).
