Giannis Antetokounmpo is only 26 years old, but he has just won both last major titles that were missing from his list! An exceptional feat which is even more valuable for a very simple reason: Kobe Bryant predicted it! Giannis was bound to be grateful after the victory.
For several years now, Giannis Antetokounmpo shows its full potential in the field. Winner of the title of Most Improved Player in 2017, the Greek has never looked behind him and has experienced a simply mind-blowing progression. Two MVP titles and a DPOY later, he finally realized his big dream: to rule the NBA.
Who would have thought that he, the frail young winger from the Greek second division, would become one of the most dominant interiors in history? Not many people! If not maybe Kobe bryant, who announced Giannis’ career several years ago. The Mamba tweet is once again making the rounds on social networks!
My man… .MVP Greatness. 🙌🏾💪🏾 Next up: Championship. #MambaMentality https://t.co/dhZTFI1Aam

My guy… MVP. Excellency. Next goal: the title of champion!
Just two years after this announcement from Kobe, Giannis Antetokounmpo did it! He is NBA champion, in the franchise of his heart, while scoring 50 points in the decisive game, a first for 63 years… We can hardly do more Mamba Mentality as a journey! So obviously, the Greek Freak was very touched at the press conference. He gave a passionate speech about it.
At the beginning it was a Nike ad it seems to me, he gave challenges to DeMare DeRozan, Isaiah Thomas, so I said to myself why not try my luck… When he said to me “MVP”, he made me believe it was possible. I was like, “Kobe Bryant thinks I can do this? Play at the highest level and carry a team ?! I had to do it.
He made me work harder because people thought I had the skills to do it. I don’t like to let people down, which is also why I decided to extend my contract in Milwaukee. Being able to accomplish the goals given by Kobe is crazy, it’s totally unreal I can’t believe it.
The title of the Lakers in the bubble was obviously dedicated to Kobe Bryant, the coronation of Giannis is also a little bit… The legend of Mamba continues to be written in the NBA!
