Genilac. A Genilacois summoned to the French futnet team
Ludovic Bouix, player of the FCG (Futnet Club Genilac), was summoned by Guillaume Ortis and Jimmy Libert, the duo of coaches of the French team of futnet (new name of tennis ball). The end goal being the World Triple Championships to be held in Prague in November 2022.
Already three internships with the France group
The young man did not arrive in this discipline by chance. After fifteen years in traditional football, he joined Genilac Tennis Ballon in 2010 before joining FCG in 2016, a club of which he is vice-president alongside Ludovic Haon.
He will therefore join the Blues for a second internship in Paris from March 25 to 27, a reward for his investment and his performances which did not go unnoticed, in particular his victory in the qualifying tournament for the Coupe de France against the defending champion. The next step will be formalized in mid-April with the announcement of the group for the second edition of the Esterel Futnet Cup international tournament in Saint-Raphaël from July 15 to 17.
This is not Ludovic’s first call: « I did my first internship with the France group in July 2017 in Sète, which allowed me to move on to the second in September 2017 in Clairefontaine, and finally in Toulouse in August 2018”. At the dawn of his 35th birthday, he wanted to put the odds on his side in order to participate in the world championships by enlisting the services of his friend Damien Faure as a private coach: « it was obvious, I immediately thought of him because we have played together for a long time, he knows my game well. He will know how to make me give the best of myself and will have the right words tactically to help me pass a course » adds -he.
With his style of play which he describes as « atypical with the control of both feet », he benefits from a significant advantage which will perhaps allow him to win the final of the Coupe de France in singles on April 16 in Les Sables. -d’Olonne before validating his ticket for the Blues.
