As part of the activities marking the 63rd anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Niger, the Presidency organized this Friday, December 17 at the Seyni Kountch General Stadium in Niamey, a « Republic Gala ». The « Gala de la Rpublique » took place in a Seyni Kountch General Stadium, which refused to be crowded, kicked off by the President of the Republic Mohamed Bazoum, who was accompanied for the occasion. by the First Lady Hadiza Bazoum, the President of the National Assembly Seini Oumarou, the High Representative of the President of the Republic Foumakoye Gado as well as national deputies, members of the government and several distinguished guests.

Niger is celebrating this Saturday, December 18, 2021, the 63rd anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic and commemorative festivities, in particular a civil and military parade, are planned in Diffa, 1300km south-east of Niamey, a region which has been ravaged for several years by the attacks of the terrorist sect Boko Haram and its various factions.
