G-Power ventures into the world of Lamborghini modification after releasing an upgrade pack for the Urus.
G-Power is BMW. But not only. The German tuner is best known for improving and modifying BMW M models. In recent years, the company has also expanded its portfolio to include Mercedes-AMG and Porsche vehicles. The modifications he made to the Lamborghini Urus follow a similar formula to those of his other creations. To start, G-Power worked on the super SUV’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 and tuned the power management software. Originally, the engine develops 650 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, but G-Power settings bring it to 740 horsepower and 950 Nm. For customers looking for even more power, G-Power offers an upgrade package that combines mapping changes to a new exhaust line and sports catalytic converters. Thus modified, the Urus develops 780 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque.
G-Power is also developing a third modification kit for the Urus that will replace the air cooling system and turbos, which should add around 50 more horsepower. A few small visual changes have also been made to the Urus in question. The most obvious change concerns the appearance of 24-inch rims, with matte black spokes and orange piping.
The Urus is also covered in a satin black paint on which we find orange details along the side sills and the front spoiler. There’s also a sizable rear spoiler on the roof and a sportier carbon fiber diffuser. G-Power has yet to release prices for all of this modification kit for the SUV but Lamborghini, but of course it shouldn’t be expected to come cheap. But at the same time, on an SUV over 200,000 euros, does it really matter?
