From the NFL to the new Bernabéu by 2025?

Real Madrid would be very interested in hosting NFL games in their stadium by 2025, say the daily AS.

The stadium remodeling work is still underway, and if the deadlines are met, the inauguration of the completely modernized enclosure should take place during the 2022-2023 season.

Among the great innovations of this new Bernabéu, the retractable lawn which can host events of all kinds, such as concerts or other sports. It is with this in mind that the Merengue management has set itself the objective of hosting an American football match within four years.

The NFL wants to relocate each year one of its meetings in Europe, in Spain in particular, and Real Madrid fully believes that the conditions are met for this to be done in its renovated enclosure.

An American football match could therefore be scheduled in the future, participating in the move to boost the profits generated by the stadium, as Florentino Perez had planned.
