the international football player Benjamin mendy under police investigation, confirmed his English club Manchester City in a press release, for rape and sexual assault, as confirmed this time by the Cheshire Police.
We learn that the athlete, who made his debut at Le Havre Athletic Club (HAC) in 2007, is accused of four rapes and one sexual assault, which allegedly occurred between October 2020 and August 2021. The complaints were filed by three women, over 16, further specifies the British police.

Suspended from his club
Benjamin Mendy was remanded in custody, before being heard by a Cheshire judge on Friday August 27, 2021. The Manchester City club have notified that their defender was suspended for the duration of the investigation and that he would not make any comments.
The athlete not only made the heyday of the HAC (2007-2013), but also of the Olympique de Marseille (2013-2016) and AS Monaco (2016-2017).
