Codemasters and Electronic Arts have rolled out the first major update for F1 2021. The official Formula 1 game, which we tested this summer, receives a new track and a new safety car.
The first of the three tracks that will be added to the game has just arrived thanks to this patch 1.10. Portimão is now playable in time trial mode, Grand Prix mode and multiplayer mode. In career or in My Team mode, it will be added when you change season, with the possibility of selecting it.
The circuit which serves as the theater for the Portuguese Grand Prix presents, as in real life, many uneven and fast curves with braking in support. But the publisher also announced the arrival of Imola and Jeddah.
For the circuit of the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, we will have to wait until next month. For the Saudi Arabian circuit, still under construction in reality, it will be necessary to wait until November, shortly before the first race there.
On the patch deployed today, a performance upgrade between the teams has been made, and the Aston Martin Vantage which officiates in Safety Car has also been added on the heats where it is present this season.
Electronic Arts clarified that the arrival of the 2021 Formula 2 drivers and teams, notably with Théo Pourchaire and Oscar Piastri, will be made during the November update.
