Formula 1 | Serious health concerns for Red Bull owner

There are serious health fears for Red Bull owner Dietrich Mateschitz.
Rumors have been circulating for some time that the 78-year-old, the world’s richest Austrian who keeps his life very private, is suffering from a serious illness.
« He is not feeling right, » reports Roger Benoit, F1 correspondent for Swiss newspaper Blick.
A journalist from the major Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung also admits that there is « great concerns about the health of Mateschitz, who has not been seen publicly in months.
« Insiders report that he hasn’t even been available to his closest employees lately. »
A spokesperson for the energy drink company founded by Mateschitz said: « As you know, it has always been important to Mr. Mateschitz to keep his private life out of public view. That has not changed. »
Dr Helmut Marko, who is Mateschitz’s closest contact in the world of Formula 1 – where Red Bull owns two teams – also declined to comment.
« No comment, this is a private matter. We do not comment on it. »
