Mick Schumacher hopes that Haas F1 can finally get off to a good start next year with brand new regulations and a car developed more closely with Ferrari. The German wants to sign better results than this year and sets goals.
« The objective is to be in Q2 regularly, the wish is to reach Q3 » explained Schumacher, who seems to satisfy his employers. « From what I hear, everyone at Ferrari is happy with what I have shown so far. But I also know that I have to take a step next year. »
The 2020 Formula 2 champion is hoping that Haas F1’s new infrastructure in Maranello, next to the Ferrari factory, will help his team grow and gain even more support from the Scuderia.
« We are practically the Ferrari B team now, where Ferrari juniors like me can ride. At Maranello we also now have the opportunity to work in the Ferrari wind tunnel. It will be an advantage. »
