No points for Williams F1 on the Hungarian turnstile, unsurprisingly.

The race for both drivers was further compromised from the start, with damage forcing Alex Albon to stop after the first lap while Latifi lost aerodynamics on the front of his FW44. 17th and 18th on arrival, they are already thinking about the holidays…

« The race went well. We were a bit out of sequence with the damage to my front wing at the start and I had to stop straight away to change it, » commented Alex Albon.

« There was a lot of tire degradation and a lot of pit stops which didn’t make it any easier. Anyway, not much to say except that it was a tough weekend for us. , but it was a good learning weekend, continuing to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the new package. »

« Looking at the season so far, personally I’m happy, it’s gone well and better than I expected, and I’m going into the summer vacation quite happy. Obviously, we don’t We’re not where we want to be on the grid, but we will come back stronger after the break. »

For Nicholas Latifi, « unfortunately my race was compromised at the start by damage to the front wing. It wasn’t great as the damage cost us a big tire degradation, much more than we had hoped for. The balance was very delicate with the wind, so we have to find a way to sort that out later in the season. »
