After a very good overall result in Singapore which enabled it to score 22 points in the constructors’ world championship, all while Alpine F1 recorded a double retirement on its side, McLaren F1 is entering the Japanese Grand Prix with a lot of envy as the Woking team again occupy fourth place in the standings.

Lando Norris rode a well-paced race to fail just short of the podium in Marina Bay, and the Briton hopes his team will continue that momentum as Suzuka is the first of the final five races of the 2022 season.
