The first edition of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix will be held in 2022, certainly in May, and we have learned that the circuit that will wind around Hard Rock Stadium now has a name. It will be called the Miami International Autodrome.

« I am happy to reveal that the official name of our circuit is the Miami International Autodrome » said Tom Garfinkel, responsible for the Miami F1 Grand Prix. « We have worked hard to create a circuit that offers great races and lots of passing opportunities. »

In addition, we are working to innovate the fan experience across the sports and entertainment campus at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, to reflect how Miami has become an international curator of culture through food, art, fashion, music and sport. «

Richard Cregan, the CEO of the Grand Prix, reveals that it is already a popular success in terms of attention from possible future spectators. Both he and Garfinkel want to establish the circuit around Hard Rock Stadium as an event venue as important as the stadium, which notably serves the Miami Dolphins in the NFL.

« We have already exceeded 150,000 requests for tickets and hospitality, which is extremely encouraging as we have yet to announce the date of our first Miami Grand Prix. » explains Cregan.

“Almost a third of those requests come from companies looking to access the world-class hospitality for which all events at Hard Rock Stadium are renowned, and 25% of all requests to date have come from the foreigner. »

« As we roll out the detailed planning work that goes into the experience, and the levels of customization on offer, we’re sure the Miami International Autodrome will be a focal point for fans around the world. »
