There will be two new faces this season within the Mercedes F1 academy, after the German team announced on Tuesday that they had signed Luna Fluxa from karting and Daniel Guinchard from British F4.
The arrival of these two young pilots brings the number of members within the academy to seven. Among them, the driver closest to Formula 1 is Frederik Vesti, who will evolve this year in the Formula 2 championship with ART Grand Prix.
Paul Aron will drive in the European Formula Regional Championship with Prema. In the same team, we will find Andrea Kimi Antonelli in Italian F4. Guinchard will evolve in British F4, within the Argenti team.
Yuanpu Cui, Alex Powell and Alexa Flexa will still evolve in karting for the 2022 season.
