Formula 1 | Hamilton summoned to commissioners in Singapore

Lewis Hamilton was called to the stewards in Singapore after the end of the last free practice session.
The seven-time world champion finished the session in 12th place in wet conditions at the Marina Bay circuit.
However, after the session, Hamilton was summoned to the Stewards’ office for a hearing as he allegedly breached Appendix L of the International Sporting Code.
Appendix L includes regulations concerning the wearing of helmets, fireproof clothing, seat belts… or the wearing of jewelry while driving.
Earlier this year new F1 race directors Niels Wittich and Eduardo Freitas recalled the jewelery ban, which prompted opposition from Hamilton.
However, the FIA did not specify exactly for which section of Appendix L Hamilton breached the sporting code.
