Lewis Hamilton called Charles Leclerc a « leader in a phenomenal team » while expressing his enthusiasm for possible future battles with the Monegasque at the wheel of his Ferrari.
Hamilton has not hesitated to praise the new generation of talented young drivers lately: British pair George Russell and Lando Norris have already benefited from the kind words of the seven-time champion.
« It was amazing to see Charles progress. He is a leader in a phenomenal Ferrari team. »
« Of course they had a hard time. But Charles and Ferrari just got stronger and stronger and faster, progressing through the field and starting to come and tickle us. And he’s still so young! »
« I think he’s on his own way and he’s going to keep growing, getting stronger. »
« He has already shown so much potential, so early in his career. He can only improve further and he has a great team to do it. I would love to have more battles with him in the future. »
