Formula 1: Francorchamps will alternate with Zandvoort from 2024

The Belgian GP will only take place every other year from 2024. It will alternate with that of the Netherlands to organize a sort of Benelux GP. A project that could be emulated in Europe, where it is impossible to compete with the sumptuary offers from the rest of the world.

ISouth Africa has apparently lost all chances – for the moment anyway – of bringing the African continent back on the Formula 1 map. Putin and the leaders of the former country of Mandela, in particular around the delivery of weapons used in the context of the Ukrainian conflict.
While last year, the return of this event which had animated the championship in the 70s and 80s, was presented as the coup de grace of the Belgian GP, the promoters of the latter took note of this information with a some passivity. It must be said that for months already, wanting to no longer find themselves in the same position as last year, waiting for the goodwill of F1 promoters to obtain a hypothetical year off for their event, they were working on a much more ambitious project.
