Aston Martin F1: Stroll wants a (...)

Lance Stroll wants to progress after a difficult start to the season. The Aston Martin F1 driver is unable to regain the confidence he had behind the wheel of the old single-seaters, and although he has shown some progress on some occasions, he does not feel comfortable behind the wheel.

« We are still learning, but I think on my side I want to feel better and more comfortable with the car » Stroll said. “I always feel like I’m not confident enough in the car, I lack precision and the car is unpredictable.

« I have to keep working to get back to where I was last year and the year before, with a more predictable and more comfortable car. Now it’s just a bit difficult for me, I have to keep working with my engineers to try to sort this out. »

The Canadian had a very difficult start to the season, especially with the first version of the AMR22, but is still struggling to get into the rhythm with the B version of the single-seater. He explains what does not suit him about the new generation F1 cars.

« Just the characteristics of the car, very stiff, and maybe the set-up. I’m not driving someone else’s car, but we just have to try and keep working and understanding. It’s more difficult this year than in recent years to find comfort and rhythm. »
