« It’s a very different circuit to the one we did last weekend at Spa and a fun track to drive a Formula 1 car. With all the bumps it’s a bit like a roller coaster. The car doing well so far today we saw the track change a lot due to the large amount of dust there was this morning we will analyze everything but we are happy with our progress so far . »
For Ocon, « It’s good to be back in Zandvoort, on a circuit where I like to drive because of its layout and its unique gradients. We ended this day on Friday by raising our two cars in the top 10 at the the outcome of the two practice sessions, which is a good way to start our weekend. We will focus this evening on finding the points where we can improve. We will start tomorrow with a good understanding of tire behaviour, especially as we tested the hardest compound today and it’s not something we usually do on Fridays Lots of work to do with the team to be ready for tomorrow’s qualifying session, which will be very important. »

It’s fantastic to be able to keep adding improvements with each race. And it there will be more in the next ones. We are looking forward to the rest of the weekend here in Zandvoort. There have been no surprises so far and we are happy with our work. This weekend , we aim to continue our momentum in the Constructors’ Championship against our main rivals. »
