Guanyu Zhou made his second straight Q3 entry, beating Valtteri Bottas in qualifying for the third consecutive time, after Baku and Monaco. The Alfa Romeo F1 driver is happy to sign his best qualification since his arrival at the British GP.

In the other Alfa Romeo C42, Bottas was much more frustrated, having been unable to bring his tires up to temperature: « It was tricky yes, the conditions changed all the time.
