Former Formula One driver Daniil Kyvat signed up for NASCAR

Team Hezeberg has just announced former Formula One driver, Daniil Kyvat for the NASDCAR Cup Series race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

The former Formula One driver has 110 starts in the discipline and three podiums. His last race dates back to the 2020 season at the last event of the season in Abu Dhabi.

Kyvat will drive Team Hezeberg’s #26 Toyota. Note that the team will also field a second car. The Toyota n°27 will be entrusted to Loris Hezemans. The Dutch driver had already been entered this season in the NASCAR Cup Series during the road races in Austin and Road Atlanta.

For the record, it was already Team Hezeberg, which entered Jacques Villeneuve in the Daytona 500 at the start of the season.
