For a month, Shohei Ohtani has been intractable

The least we can say, Shohei Ohtani is having a season of thunder.

He accumulates records and manages, night after night, to surprise baseball fans.

So much the better, because baseball must continue to renew itself and improve. It happens with players like Ohtani, but also Juan Soto, Ronald Acuña Jr. and so on…

If collectively the Angels are struggling (again) this season, since August 4, Ohtani has been intractable.

On the mound, he has maintained a 1.74 ERA in his last five starts. Enough to make his opponents blush.

Offensively, he hits for .327. To this is added his 10 long balls and his percentage of presence plus power (OPS) at 1,100. He also has 31 home runs since the start of the season.

It’s a real shame he’s not able to find himself on a winning roster year after year. The owner of the Angels may try everything, Ohtani, he can not do everything alone.

Imagine for a moment if the Japanese athlete would find himself in a formation like the New York Yankees, with Aaron Judge having a smashing season. Financially speaking, it would surely not work…

Don’t get too carried away, but I believe that the modern-day Babe Ruth will eventually win a championship, even several. But, I’m not sure it will be with the Los Angeles Angels.

At the time of making me lie…
