Football: MHSC coach Romain Pitau expected this Friday, most players back

Absent from the resumption of training on Monday due to Covid, the MHSC coach must return to Grammont, this Friday, December 2. And facilitate sessions in which the majority of players participate.

The return to normal is taking shape in Montpellier. While coach Romain Pitau was absent from the recovery on Monday, he is expected this Friday in Grammont where several MHSC players have returned in recent days.

Pitau, affected by the Covid last week, had to forfeit the return to training at La Paillade on November 28 after a fortnight’s vacation.

The ex-midfielder will thus lead his first session since his confirmation at the head of the Hérault team, on November 14, after four matches as interim (2 draws, 2 defeats),

He will find Stephy Mavididi in front of him. The Englishman, also sick with Covid and absent on Monday, returned to the training center on Wednesday. Just like Maxime Estève, recovered from his gastroenteritis.

Khazri expected after internship

The young internationals (Fayad, Wahi, Chotard) made their comeback this Thursday.

Only missing Mathias Suarez, pending departure, Axel Guéguin (ankle) and Sacha Delaye, left to rest after having cut short his vacation to help the reserve. The young man from Montpellier will return to the group on Sunday, for the start of the training camp in Marbella (Spain).

Finally, Wahbi Khazri, scorer against the Blues but eliminated from the World Cup with Tunisia on Wednesday, should probably find Montpellier at the end of this internship, after December 10.
