An « agreement in principle » between former Manchester United Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani and Villarreal has been reached, the Spanish press announced on Tuesday.

In Villarreal, he could thus find his former coach at PSG Unaï Emery.
In this case, the top scorer in the history of PSG (200 goals) would therefore find Unaï Emery, who trained him for two seasons in the club of the capital.
He would also discover a fourth major European championship, after playing in Italy (Palermo, Naples), France and England.
