Football Ligue 1. Security measures for the arrival of PSG supporters in Toulouse

The Ligue 1 match between TFC and PSG, scheduled for August 31, 2022, has been classified as « at risk ». Result: security measures have already been announced to regulate the arrival of Parisian supporters in Toulouse.

This is « a game at risk« , according to the National Division for the Fight against Hooliganism (DNLH). The football match between the TFC and PSG, scheduled for Wednesday August 31, 2022, is already subject to security measures. The prefect of Haute-Garonne signed a decree dated August 23 aimed at framing the movement to Toulouse of Parisian supporters.

According to the press release from the Haute-Garonne prefecture, access to the Toulouse Stadium will be exclusively « authorized to PSG supporters with tickets, issued through the Parisian club, in exchange for their countermarks.“And their movement in town, before and after the match scheduled for 9 p.m., will also be placed under surveillance.

Except within the framework of the meeting point set for PSG supporters, from Wednesday August 31, 2022 at 8 a.m. to Thursday September 1 at midnight, it is forbidden for any person claiming to be a PSG supporter or behaving as such, to drive or park on the public highway within a delimited perimeter.

In the same perimeter and from Wednesday August 31, 2022 8:00 a.m. to Thursday September 1 00:00 a.m., the prefecture indicates that « the possession, transport and use of any firecrackers or smoke bombs are prohibited.«
