Football / Ligue 1. FC Metz: Ablie Jallow extends the adventure
Arrived in Moselle in July 2017 from the Génération Foot Academy, Ablie Jallow has so far not really managed to find a place for himself in the Metz collective (15 matches, 1 goal). Loaned to AC Ajaccio in 2019-2020 and then to RFC Seraing since last season, the Gambian international nevertheless seems to have found his cruising speed in Belgium.
Last year, the native of Banjul (22) had thus largely contributed to the accession of the Steelworkers to the elite by playing 21 games (5 goals, 5 assists). This season, Ablie Jallow has started all of the RFCS matches in the Pro League (9 matches, 1 assist).
His services with the Seresian jersey did not therefore leave the leaders of Metz unmoved, who decided to extend the contract of their attacking midfielder. Initially linked to FC Metz until June 2022, he is now linked for two additional seasons, i.e. until June 2024.
