Just a few months after his arrival in the Major Soccer League (MLS, American D1 championship), Denis Bouanga could already win his first title. The Gabonese and his team, Los Angeles FC (LAFC, American D1), qualified for the MLS final by dominating Austin FC (American D1), on October 30 in Los Angeles, in the Western Conference final with the score of 3-0. Either the first final in the history of the club.

The Gabon international didn’t score but was a threat from the opening whistle. He managed to get behind the defense with well-timed diagonal runs and was always precise around the box.
