Football Italy – Juve: Di Maria already ready to slam the door

Juventus find themselves in a rather perilous situation, whether sportingly or on the transfer market. A lot of players should leave the ship next summer.

For a few seasons now, Juventus have been in free fall. The Old Lady is struggling to renew its workforce with players at the level of its institution. This summer, the Bianconeri have nevertheless done the job to strengthen themselves properly. And Juve did not fail to sign players at the end of the contract. Angel Di Maria notably joined Piedmont on a contract for only one season. Moreover, the former PSG player has apparently not planned to make old bones in Serie A. In any case, this is what reports Tutto Mercato Web.

Di Maria, one turn and that’s it?

The Italian media claim that Di Maria does not intend to stay at Juve next summer. The same goes for Adrien Rabiot, whose contract also expires next June. Tutto Mercato Web adds that the only player who can be convinced to stay with the Bianconeri is Leandro Paredes. But the player still belongs to PSG and Juve will have to pay more than 20 million euros to afford him, which does not seem at all obvious for the coffers of the Italian club. If Juve therefore knows that it will have to make certain sacrifices during the next summer transfer window, the Piedmontese management is already at work on certain files. This is the case for Grimaldo (Benfica) or Evan Ndicka (Eintracht Frankfurt), who are highly appreciated by the management of Juve. While waiting to find out more about its next transfer window, the Old Lady will have to take control, while the club is third in its group in the Champions League and only 8th in the Serie.
