Football in Redon. 32 U12 and U13 teams at the FCAV Gwilen’Cup

Sébastien Lainé, manager of the organization team does not hide his satisfaction while specifying the changes. “For this edition, we have a strong field with young people from professional teams such as Stade Rennais, Lorient and Guingamp, but also excellent amateur teams such as Stade Briochin, Vitré or Vertou. This time, no distinction with the mix of pro and amateur teams in a single tournament. All young people will be rewarded. »

Among the entrants, we will also find the winners of the first edition Fougères, Questembert, Carquefou, Bruz, Messac Guipry or Bains-sur-Oust, without forgetting the FCAV. It will be, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven-a-side football with 14-minute matches on the main pitch which will have been named the day before, Yannick-Stopyra, and on the synthetic.

A team of 120 volunteers

For the success of the Gwilen’Cup, Sébastien Lainé, who is very involved, has surrounded himself with a solid and extensive team with 120 volunteers. Among them, the sector managers of the day, Baptiste Niel, Denis Benjamin, Greg Djelali, Julien François Mattéo Amiot and Gilles Pondard. There are refreshments, but also catering with a meal plan at €6.50. This Saturday, it will be a party for all these young people eager to return to the fields in competition and for parents and supporters who are fans of budding hopefuls.
