The twelve qualified for the second round and the four National 3 clubs who enter the competition now know their opponents for thethird round of the Coupe de France.
The draw, which took place this Tuesday at the end of the afternoon, at the headquarters of the Centre-Val de Loire league, in Orléans, reserved some beautiful posters for meetings which will take place Sunday, September 11, 15 hours.
Pithiviers again against Montargis
Four Loiret derbies will be on the menu for this third round, including a remake of last season between Pithiviers (R2) and Montargis (N3) who met in the fourth round last season. The CAP had turned the situation around (3-2) and upset the hierarchy. What about September 11?
Surprises last season in the Coupe de France
Also to follow is an attractive Beaugency – SMOC Saint-Jean-de-Braye or one Fleury – Saint-Jean-le-Blanc which will be of interest. But we will obviously keep an eye on the Cinderella of the event, the US Cepoy/Corquilleroy, Departmental 3 club, which will receive Neuville (D1).
The other Loiret clubs will all be away. USM Saran (N3) inherited the toughest opponent with FC Drouais who also plays in N3.
