Flashed at 171 km / h in his boss’ Porsche, positive for cannabis and on probationary license

A 36-year-old man appeared this Thursday before the Montluçon criminal court (Allier) after being checked at 171 km / h instead of 110 at the wheel of a Porsche, in Lamaids. The facts date back to November 2021; reports The mountain. While on probation, the defendant had taken the wheel of a powerful car belonging to his employer.

Already sentenced for similar acts

Facing the gendarmes, he immediately revealed that he had consumed cannabis two days earlier at a party, which the tests confirmed. He was therefore prosecuted for excessive speeding and driving while having consumed narcotics.

His criminal record with eight convictions did not plead in his favor. The 30-year-old was notably convicted in 2012 for driving after consuming narcotics and in 2021 for excessive speeding.

This time he was sentenced to a 90-day fine of 10 euros and his license was cancelled.
