Ferrari employees receive a bonus of 12,000 euros

Ferrari will pay all its employees a performance-related bonus of up to 12,000 euros after a very successful year for the Italian manufacturer. The latter has seen its sales increase sharply.

Is it good to live at Ferrari? Most car enthusiasts will tell you yes. Brand employees too! Financial results published by Ferrari for the calendar year 2021 reveal that it recorded net sales of 4.271 billion euros. A significant jump of 23.4% compared to 2020 and 13.4% compared to 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic. EBITA (earnings before interest, taxes and amortization) also jumped to 1.531 billion euros, 34% more than in 2020 and 20.6% more than in 2019.

Adjusted net profit also increased to 833 million euros. This is 56% more than in 2020. Earnings per share also increased from 2.88 euros in 2020 to 4.50 euros in 2021. The automaker also distributed 162 million euros in dividends throughout of the year. These good financial results are due to an increase in deliveries. Ferrari delivered a total of 11,155 vehicles last year, 2,036 more than in 2020 or an increase of 22.3%.

Well rewarded

Sales of Ferrari’s V8 models were particularly strong and jumped 34.6%, but sales of the brand’s V12 models fell 16.1%. We imagine that it is because of the 812 Superfast which was removed from the catalog during the year, giving way to the 812 Competizione and Aperta and the GTS.

In addition to confirming that production of the Purosangue SUV will begin this year, Ferrari’s financial results have confirmed that production of the Daytona SP3 will also begin in 2022. Simply put, finances are doing well, so employees are rewarded!
