FC Nantes forced to land in Saint-Nazaire

Since April 7, no plane can take off or land from Nantes between midnight and 6 a.m. A curfew has indeed been put in place at Nantes-Atlantique airport, in order to protect residents who have been protesting for a long time against the nighttime nuisance of planes.

With the end of the match around 10:50 p.m., plus the change to the locker room, media obligations and the long road to reach Marignane airport, the Canaries reached Loire-Atlantique well after midnight. And private planes have not obtained an exemption from the curfew, knowing that any offender is liable to a fine of up to 40,000 euros.
