Stuart Skinner (EDM) – against CHI (5% owned)

Mike Smith made his return to the crease last night and with Mikko Koskinen in COVID protocol, Skinner is expected to start tonight against Chicago. Edmonton will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 4-0 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights yesterday. Skinner has been inconsistent this year (5-6), mirroring the Oilers’ inconsistent season, but he’s set for a quality start tonight against a struggling Blackhawks team.

The Oilers are -186 favorites at home against a Chicago team that has lost seven of its last eight (1-5-2) and has scored two or fewer goals in five of those games, including two shutouts. Skinner is 3-1 in his last four starts and had an impressive win over the Blackhawks earlier in the season, stopping 29 of 31 shots.
