Holder of a Master’s degree in international law, I realized at the end of my university course that it was important to evolve in a field that we appreciate. Overnight, I decided to put an end to the dream of my parents, who saw me as a future lawyer, to live from my passion: sport. Since then, I have covered mercatos and sports news, trying to inform readers as well as possible.

The Monegasque driver made too many individual errors and was weighed down by certain strategic errors Ferrari. This Tuesday, he looked back on his season and spoke of his frustration.

Ferrari has multiplied the errors this season. In Hungary, the Scuderia had sealed the race of Charles Leclerc by fitting him with hard rubbers. HAS Silverstonethe team had given priority to Carlos Sainz Jr. rather than Charles Leclerc, then in the lead. But the most glaring error occurred at monacohis home. Ferrari had made the decision not to attempt to switch directly from rain tires to slicks. An error, which hurt the pilot. This Tuesday, Leclerc returned to the strategic errors of his team.

Leclerc regrets his team’s mistakes

“Emotionally, there have been a lot of ups and downs. Our start to the season has been almost perfect. The first three-four races turned out to be very good. The middle of the season was very complicated with a lot of engine problems, engine penalties and strategic concerns, which meant that we never managed to achieve the performance of the car. And the end of the season we found ourselves a little below, compared to Red Bull or Mercedes  » told Leclercwho however made some individual errors such as during the French Grand Prix or at Imola.

« It’s not easy to live »

» What was the hardest between my mistakes errors in the race or the strategic decision of Silverstone? Not easy to answer you: both were complicated to live with. On the one hand, something that I completely control: errors on the track when you push to the limit, these are things that happen. We know it as a pilot, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating (…) The other errors, those that we don’t necessarily control, it’s not easy to live with » admitted Leclerc, who addressed a small tackle to Ferrari.

“By making the wrong choices, we lost the victory”

«  The Silverstone episode? It was really not easy, but Monaco will remain the most painful moment. Another Grand Prix at home that didn’t go well. Especially since we did the hardest part with the start of the race in the rain. But by making the wrong choices, we lost the victory. he blurted out.
