Mercedes sends huge warning to Ferrari

Mercedes technical director, Mike Elliott spoke about the season achieved by his team. The official is delighted with the latest races carried out by his drivers, Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, and hopes to soon compete with Ferrari in the constructors’ championship. For now, Team Mercedes is in third place, behind Scuderia and Red Bull.

The Grand Prize of Netherlands was a good run for mercedes. Victory went to Max Verstappen (Red Bull) but george russell managed to climb on the second step of the podium, ahead of CHarles Leclerc (Ferrari). Seven-time world champion Formula 1, Lewis Hamilton took fourth place. Good performances that allow the team to get closer to the Scuderia in the manufacturers’ ranking. Especially since the other pilot Ferrari, Carlos Sainz Jr. finished in a disappointing eighth place.

Mercedes delighted with its last races

Technical Director of Mercedes, Mikel Elliott showed his satisfaction, in remarks reported by F1 Only.  » We’ve had good races, and we’ve had less good races, but I think what’s really encouraging is the understanding that comes from the simulation and the work that we’re doing and the understanding that comes from the wind tunnel . It allows us to figure out why our performance is going up and down, what we need to get back into the fight in the lead, and what we need to do through the winter – I think those are the key things” did he declare.
